Architectural Woodwork Institute (AWI)

Our affiliation with the Architectural Woodwork Institute gives us access to a wealth of industry-related information, as well as continuing development opportunities.

California Air Resources Board (CARB)

CARB has become a leading organization in promoting public health and welfare. Although the board serves California, this organization’s recommendations have become widely adopted across the nation. Wood-Metal cabinets meet CARB requirements for formaldehyde emissions.

Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC®)

FSC® is an independent, non-governmental, not-for-profit organization established to promote the responsible management of the world’s forests. FSC® carries out this mission through a variety of certifications and accreditation services including Chain of Custody (CoC) certifications. CoC projects are followed through every step of the manufacturing process and measures that are taken to adhere to FSC® guidelines are carefully documented and recorded. Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED®)

LEED® is an internationally recognized points-based system developed by the United States Green Building Council with the goal of promoting environmentally responsible practices and preserving natural resources. A variety of Wood-Metal products qualify for LEED® points.

The Scientific Equipment and Furniture Association (SEFA)

SEFA spells SAFE™ – The Scientific Equipment and Furniture Association was designed to meet the needs of an important industry of lab designers and manufacturers of laboratory furniture.
